Across the nation, nursing homes and long-term care facilities for the elderly have been hit hard by the coronavirus crisis. The virus has sickened and killed thousands of residents and staff members at these facilities. At least 43 deaths have been linked to an outbreak at the Life Care nursing facility in Kirkland, Wash. And at least 35 people have died from the virus at the Canterbury Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, a nursing facility in Richmond, Va.

We want to talk to nursing home and long-term care workers, residents and family members around the country who can help us monitor what’s happening in these vulnerable communities.
