NASCAR Highlights: Pocono 350
The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series makes it’s way to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400 on Sunday. The race will not just be held without fans in attendance, a standard sight at most races this year, but also without one of the biggest names in the sport: Jimmie Johnson.
It was announced on Friday that Johnson tested positive for coronavirus, which came shortly after his wife tested positive for the respiratory disease. How much time he’ll miss on the season isn’t entirely known as NASCAR requires drivers to be symptom-free, which he reportedly is, and have two coronavirus tests come back negative in a 24-hour span to come back.

The victory was his fourth of the season, which leads the whole Cup Series. He sits fifth in the playoff standings, and oddsmakers have him at 400 to win again.
