Wrote for Baseball ProspectusThis year’s midseason ranking of the top prospects in the minors has more changes than usual from the offseason top 100 because so many prospects graduated this spring. The players I ranked 1, 2, 5, 6 and 10 are all in the majors to stay, and at a glance, I see at least 10 others who aren’t eligible for this list.I exclude any players in the majors for the midseason top 50, rather than trying to calculate days on the roster for rookie status, so Dylan Cease is out, but Brendan McKay (optioned by Tampa Bay after his last start) is in. Since no one ever reads the intro anyway, remember that your favorite team is under-represented because I hate them.
